A Plant fair at the Château de Crosville-sur-Douve (50 Manche, Normandie) – A Franco-British ‘Journées des Plantes Journées des plantes Franco-Britanniques’ 20 – 21 April 2024

Chateau de Cosville-sur-Douve

A little girl’s dream… Vacant since 1742, the castle is sliding into oblivion, only the farm is still running, using the rooms as granaries. Put up for sale in 1980, the Lefol family, then farmers, bought up the entire property. Today, thanks to their eager farmer daughter Michèle, the restored castle has found its soul again.

In the chateau’s courtyard and stables there will be more than 60 exhibitors including 7 plant nurseries, one of which is from the UK! There will be plants available from all over France plus Belgium and Holland . Also a food market featuring spices, teas from around the world, charcuteries, snails, Cheeses, jams, wines and other regional produce. The festival has been running for 20 years!
