The town of Capbreton (40 Landes, Nouvelle Aquitaine ) celebrates its Capbreton Festival of the Sea (Fete de la Mer) on the weekend of 29 June 2024.
An unmissable event, the Festival of the Sea celebrates the ocean, which has a very special place in the daily life of the locals. The programme for the weekend includes street entertainment , concerts, music and dancing; local stands where you can sample local specialities; and a flotilla of ships to commemorate those lost at sea.
Situated north of Biarritz with long sweeping beaches and dunes, typical of the Landes departement, Capbreton offers a festival which is full of flowers, procession with floats, music and dancing.
