In Spring in the heart of the Loire Valley the town of Tours (37 Indre-et-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire) hosts an annual wine fair (VitiLoire) in the town centre:
25 – 26 May 2024 part of the town centre (place Chateauneuf) are dedicated to local wines – opportunities to taste and learn all about the Loire Valley wine appellations with over 100 winemakers attending from 70 different appellations and showing their produce. A hundred wine growers from the four corners of Touraine leave the hillsides of both banks of the Loire to converge under the tree canopy on boulevard Béranger, in the heart of downtown Tours.
