In summer the town of Vic-Fezensac holds an annual latin music festival Tempo Latino 27 – 30July 2023:
Down in the Gers (32 Gers, Occitanie ) Vic-Fezensac holds its Pentecost (Whitsun) Festival – Feria del Toro 4 – 6 June 2022.. The term comes from the latin for a “free day”, but is also associated in the Basque country (and other parts of southern France) with a version of a Bull-running/fighting festival. But don’t let that put you off – there is a real festival atmosphere with music and dancing throughout the 4 days.
With over 80 years of running bulls Toros “The Whitsun Feria in Vic” is a meeting place for fans from all over Europe.
Vic is considered a true “plaza de toros” with its four bullfights during Whit weekend, which brings together more than 35,000 fans in the arena.
Bullfighting is a blend of culture, tradition, passion, art and sports, bullfighting is part of the history and heritage of Vic-Fezensac.
City taurine France, Vic-Fezensac has many aficionados, the season temporada bringing the stands of the bullring Joseph Fourniol to life!
