Every summer the Côtes du Rhône wine village of Seguret celebrates its Rosé Wine with an evening wine festival Le rosé by Séguret on 6 July 2018 (19h00-23h00) in the Place des Arceaux in Séguret (84 Vaucluse, Provence PACA).
Organised by the Syndicat des Vignerons de Séguret, the evening offers tastings, Tapas and entertainment in the medieval village of Séguret, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France (Un des Plus Beaux Villages de France).Séguret stands at the foot of the jagged Dentelles de Montmirail range, looking out over the Rhône Valley in a landscape of vineyards, with the tower of its medieval castle above it. As stroll along the waymarked path through the village, visitors can see the Reynier gate, the remains of the fortifications, Mascarons fountain, the wash house, the belfry and the Romanesque Church of Saint Denis. All the local producers will be showing their rosé wines, which are typically a blend of Grenache and Cinsault. We can recommend the wines of Domaine de Cabasse and Domaine de Mourchon (which is owned by British winemaker, Walter McKinlay).
