Lyon (69 Rhône, ARA) hosts a special annual celebration with its Festival of Lights (Fête des Lumières) which runs 5 – 8 December 2024. This is no mere “decoration” with festive lighting, but over 80 locations are skilfully and artistically illuminated at night to great effect, providing new vistas to astonish and delight!! The Festival of Lights is thought to be largest visual arts festival in the world!
