Corsica is host to a Jazz Festival in June
An international Jazz Festival that has been running for 25 years. it attracts big names and many musicians for concerts within the walls of the town and jam sessions along the streets, on the harbourside and in the cafés, creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
Local wine makers will have a stall inviting visitors to taste their red, white and rosé wines – the Vignerons de Balagne (AOC Corse- Calvi)
The island of Corsica rightly merits its title of “Ile de Beauté” with stunning coastlines, attractive towns/ports and magnificent mountains in the centre. It is well worth exploring.
Calvi is an attractive small port and town on the west coast of Corsica with an impressive citadelle and long sandy beaches. In the old town is one of the best delicatessens we have found Annie – Traiteur overflowing with the best local charcuterie, cheeses, wines and prepared dishes.
