On 25 -26 May 2024 the city of Auxerre (89 Yonne, BFC) holds its celebration of the wines of the Yonne département – Fleurs de Vigne.
The Yonne wines include Chablis, Irancy, Saint Bris and others.
Along the banks of the river Yonne in the heart of the city of Auxerre wine fair when more than 100 winemakers from across northern Burgundy will be joined by numerous diversions to make a great day out – wine tastings, cookery demonstrations, nautical attractions, music, folklore processions, arts and crafts, photography etc.- see Fleurs de Vigne
The vineyards have a special place in the region of Auxerre because of their age (the vines have been grown since the 2nd century) and because of their reputation: Irancy, Crémant de Bourgogne…
In the winter Auxerre holds its Christmas Market Marché de Noel along the banks of the River Yonne 25 November – 1 December 2023
