Paris – Affordable Hotels

Paris has such a rich diversity of hotel and other accommodation from budget to luxury – so the choice can be daunting.There are also many more “self-catering” and apartment hotels which can be good value for longer stays. Much will depend on location and where you want to go and visit. Recommendations from friends and colleagues can be useful. There are also some B&Bs in Paris

Hotel du Cadran in the 7th arrondissement, not far from the Eiffel Tower – and right next to Rue Cler, one of the best food shopping streets in Paris which also has a great market with plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants. The Hotel is modern and comfortable and a great breakfast is served in the stylish basement!

Hotel Madeleine Plaza located, as its name suggests, adjacent to the Madeleine Church in the 8th arrondissement – a classy central area ideal for shopping and sightseeing.= – Place de la Concorde, Rue de Rivoli and the Opera are all nearby. The hotel is well-appointed with generous bedrooms. There is some traffic noise, but that is part of the buzz of staying in the heart of Paris.

Avalon Paris Hotel
