In the heart of the town of Brive-la-Gaillarde (19 Correze, Nouvelle Aquitaine) an artificial beach (Brive Plage) is created for 10 days with entertainments for kids, music and dancing for adults – all part of the Brive Festival 21 – 24 July 2022 a major music festival.

Brive-la-Gaillarde, the brave, the fortress is situated on the border of the Correze (Limousin), 10 km from the Perigord (Aquitaine) and 15 km of the Lot (Midi-Pyrenees). It is the capital of the Brive Basin and sub-prefectures in the Correze. 50 000, 80 000 with agglomeration is the largest city in the county.
Its historic center has kept its authenticity and boasts a rich architectural heritage, a sort of shopping mall where shops open and heritage of high quality meet.
This lively city has numerous pedestrian streets all around the heart of the city and the Saint-Martin collegiate church. These streets are lined with beautiful shops. The old town of Brive-la-Gaillarde also has houses from the 15th and 16th centuries, as well as mansions.
The famous market in Brive located in the Georges Brassens covered market hall contains very good local products. Organised four times per year from December to February, the famous duck and goose product fairs (Foires Grasses) bring together many foie gras producers.
