Join the thousands of spectators this summer and be charmed by the various shows at the Paris Quartier d’été festival. Since 1990, the French capital and the surrounding towns (Nanterre, Aubervilliers, Pantin, etc.) play host to performances by street theatre companies, in theatres, gardens, at monuments, and so on.
For your viewing pleasure, they have organised around 15 shows with over 100 performances encompassing dance, music and theatre. Most of these shows are free of charge or accessible at reduced rates. The main aim of this festival is to invite kids and adults alike to have fun.
Last year the festival celebrated its 25th anniversary. Audiences discovered shows such as “Mystère” at the Opéra Comique. This arts event in July will take over the Opéra Comique, the Théâtre de la Colline, the Parc de Belleville, the banks of the Seine and the Jardin du Luxembourg with a series of amazing shows. en.parisinfo.com
