North of Hyeres and Toulon, the village of Solliès-Pont (83 Var, PACA) is the self-proclaimed “Capital of the Fig” and accordingly celebrates with its Fig Festival on 26 – 27 August 2023
Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, the village of Solliès-Pont was the first to be awarded Appelation Controllée status for its fresh figs, also known as the Solliès violet.
