On 16 March 2024 the city of Poitiers (86 Vienne, Nouvelle Aquitaine) holds its colourful Carnaval (Carnaval de Poitiers) in the city centre. This year’s theme is Pajama Party!
Around the day of Mardi Gras , come into the decorated pedestrian streets in the centre of Poitiers to watch processions of marching bands and groups of performers,… Under the title of Carnaval Bestial (Carnaval of the Beasts) promises brightly costumed and hatted parades and floats through the pedestrianised streets of the town centre, culminating in fireworks and bonfire in front of the town hall (Marie) in the early evening.
