One of the first major stage professional cycle races of the season runs for a week between the outskirts of Paris down to the Mediterranean at Nice every March (3 – 10 March 2024) Often the main contenders for the summer’s Tour de France will participate.
This year’s route passes through the wine regions of northern Burgundy, Beaujolais and Provence.

- Stage 1 (Sunday 3 March): Les Mureaux – Les Mureaux (78 Yvelines, Ile de France)
- Stage 2 (Monday 2 March) Thoiry > Montargis (45 Loiret, Centre-Val-de-Loire)
- Stage 3 (Tuesday 5 March) Auxerre – Auxerre (89 Yonne, BFC)
- Stage 4 (Wednesay 6 March) Chalon-sur-Saône – Mont Brouilly (69 Rhone)
- Stage 5 (Thursday 7 March) Saint Sauveur de Montagut – Sisteron (04 Alpes de Haut Provence, PACA)
- Stage 6 (Friday 8 March) Sisteron – La Colle-sur-Loup (Alpes _Maritime, PACA)
- Stage 7 (Saturday 9 March) NIce – Auron (Alpes _Maritime, PACA)
- Stage 8 (Sunday 10 March) Nice – Nice (Alpes _Maritime, PACA)
