Nuits St Georges. Burgundy

Nuits St Georges(21 Côte d’Or, Burgundy) lies midway between Beaune and Dijon and is famous for its wines. being the capital of the Côte de Nuits wine appellation. It is situated on the Burgundy wine route – Route des Grands Crus. It is an attractive little town with a pedestrianised main street, and plenty of opportunities to taste and buy wine, or try the local gourmet cuisine. There are some outlets from individual domaines and some negociants, who market and sometimes blend wines from different domaines.
