Minervois festival

The Minervois region of the Languedoc holds a major wine festival in Bize-Minervois (11 Aude, Occitanie) in the Autumn Tastes en Minervois 1 – 2 September 2018 – see www.leminervois.com. This is a wine and gastronomy festival with 80+local winemakers offering tastings along with local chefs demonstrating their skills and other attractions to add to the atmosphere of celebration

The Minervois is one of the largest wine-producing areas in Languedoc Roussillon. Of nearly 15 000 hectares of vines, of which 5 000 are destined for the production of AOC wines, the broad palette of vins de table, vins de pays and wines from single grape varieties is completed by three distinct AOCS : the AOC Minervois, the AOC Minervois – La Livinière and the Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois.
