The vineyard of Mas Sainte Berthe is one of our favourites for producing great wines and being in a great situation, with splendid provencal views of the imposing Alpilles mountains and the dramatic village of Les Baux de Provence (13 Bouches-du-Rhone, PACA), and just a few miles south of the beautiful village of Saint Remy-de-Provence!
These are quality wines – red, white and rosé, the reds being from Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah. The top cuvée (Cuvée Louis David) is made from older vines and is oak-aged, yet is not over tannic, retaining depth and good fruit flavours. Their shop also sells Olive Oils, Tapenade and other goodies.
The vineyard also offers signposted trails amongst the vines.
