The La Rochelle Jazz festival has been running in autumn every year since 1998. in the centre of the town of La Rochelle.
This is a festival for well-known musicians (both national and international), and even some regional musicians selected for their musical qualities. The guest list reflects almost all the artistic trends in jazz, blues, world music etc. More than a hundred musicians play in a various venues during the 9 days of the festival. including some free jam sessions open to all.
