The Marché aux Fruits Rouges – Festival of Red Fruits is held annually in early July at Noyon (60 Oise, Picardie) on the first Sunday of July (3 July 2022)
As is customary in France this is a celebration of the local red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, cherries, red currants etc) and as well as 100 local producers offering fruits to buy, there will be music, a cookery demonstration/competition and the local café waiters have a race around the town centre – all in front of the impressive Cathedral.
Noyon is about 90 miles north east of Paris.

Just outside the town is a rather special B&B at Chateau de Quesmy, an elegant Chateau set in the Picardy countryside, with a one-hectare park/grounds with landscaped gardens and a covered, heated swimming pool. It also features a hot tub and a sauna. For longer stays the Chateau also offers 2 independent self-catering gîtes.
