The village goes all festive for the two afternoons with processions, tastings etc. Over 50 stalls will be offering tastings and there will be music and a concert in the evening.
Chablis wine
All 4 grades/appellations of Chablis will be available – Grand Cru, Première Cru, Chablis and Petit Chablis . Each is a pure dry Chardonnay wine – the differentiation comes from the “terroir“. And here the key differences are mainly soil and slope (orientation) for ripening.
Chablis lies about 20km east of Auxerre and 180km south of Paris.
