Sauzon (56 Morbihan, Brittany) is on Belle Ile-en-Mer just off the Brittany Coast and the Quiberon peninsula. Appropriately named as “beautiful island in the sea” . The holiday home of the actress Sarah Bernhardt was on the island and there is a museum dedicted to her (summer only). Belle Ile hosts an annual Opera Festival in mid summer.
