Bordeaux<\/strong> (33 Gironde, Nouvelle Aquitaine<\/em>) holds its Carnaval de Bordeaux\/Carnaval des Deux Rives<\/strong> each year in March (9 Ma<\/span>rch 2025)<\/strong><\/span> with the climax being a grand procession. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inaugurated in 1996, the Carnaval des 2 Rives is one of Bordeaux’s must-see events, a giant parade in the image of the world’s great parades. Each year, more than 20,000 festival-goers join in the parade around the floats and in their costumes. In 2023, the theme has already been announced: Japan!<\/strong>
A village will be set up for the occasion on Place Pey Berland with concerts and various activities for all audiences. in past years the parade has started at 2pm from the All\u00e9es de Serr. see www.bordeaux-tourism.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n
