Throughout the weekend there will be concerts large and small, formal and informal in caf\u00e9s, restaurants, public spaces and halls.There will be classical, folk, jazz, electro and dance music showcasing the violin in all its many guises including music from other cultures. In addition there will be classes, films etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The violin used to be a traditional instrument in this part of southern Burgundy, which all but disappeared. The Morvan<\/b> is a mountainous area lying just to the west of the C\u00f4te d’Or.
