Chusclan<\/strong>\u00a0and neighbouring\u00a0Laudun<\/strong>\u00a0(30 Gard,\u00a0Occitanie<\/em>) is one of the C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne villages entitled to add its village name to the wine label:\u00a0C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne Villages<\/strong>\u00a0Chusclan<\/strong>\u00a0and holds its own\u00a0Vintage Wine Festival\u00a0<\/strong>(Vendanges de l’Histoire)<\/em>\u00a012 – 13 October 2024<\/mark>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laudun<\/strong> red wines are characterized by the elegance and predominance of perfectly ripe fruit. Chusclan<\/strong> reds, on the other hand, are lovely generous wines with remarkable intensity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The very fresh Laudun<\/strong> and Chusclan<\/strong> ros\u00e9 wines, made from Grenache and Syrah, are distinguished by their generous, delicious, light fruity aromas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The white wines stand out and are appreciated for their characteristic finesse, freshness and floral lightness.
\nThis is a small (150 hectare) appellation with high quality wines – although necessarily small production.<\/p>\n\n\n

Mainly red wines from the classic southern Rh\u00f4ne vareties – Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvedre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chusclan and Laudun are on the west bank of the Rh\u00f4ne, near Bagnols-sur-C\u00e8ze.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
