This summer (June 2011) Eastern Airways launches a 3 x weekly service to Dijon, Burgundy. The airline uses Southampton as a UK hub with flights from Liverpool, Leeds/Bradford, Aberdeen and elsewhere. The alternative route to Dijon would be to fly to Lyon (200km south)
Dijon is in the heart of Burgundy and its famous vineyards – also famous for its mustard, although rumour has it that little is now made in the city itself. The UK based airline also offers domestic services in France connecting Bordeaux. Toulouse and Nantes with Dijon.
