The Festival “Musique en Vignes dans le Frontonnais” takes place 1-12 July 2012
A series of musical concerts held in wine cellars, churches and other venues covering the range from classical to jazz is planned each followed by a wine tasting from different Fronton vineyards, including personal favourites such as Chateau Bouissel. Fronton wines are known as the Wines of Toulouse, because the Fronton vineyards are the closest to the city of Toulouse. They produce predominantly red and rose wines based on the local Negrette grape.
