Langon Festival of Wine and the Farm

Paille_et_Ripaille posterLangon (33 Gironde, Nouvelle Aquitaine) lies 45 km/28 miles south of Bordeaux  on the route to Agen (47 Lot-et-Garonne Nouvelle Aquitaine,and holds a well-balanced festival of wine,cheese and bread (Paille et Ripaille Fete des Vins et de la Ferme) on the first weekend of September. Given the proximity of some of the finest vineyards in the world – Graves, Sauternes, Pomerol, Saint Emilion – the wine element alone should be pretty good!  30 August – 1 September 2019
Food, bars, entertainment and an amazing selection of local wine and cheese producers are on display for you to talk to and to sample their wonderful products.
