Nantes (44 Loire-Atlantique, Pays de la Loire0 at the mouth of the Loire River celebrates Carnaval on a theme of music from 19-26 April 2008. Reportedly the second biggest celebration of Carnival by numbers of both paricipants and spectators it promises to be quite a spectacle,with a giant street sale (braderie) on 19 April, a street parade on 20 April, a Childrens; Carnival on 23 April and a Night parade on 26 April.
