2 new TGV high speed train lines

From 2 July 2017 the French Railway operator SNCF launches two upgraded new high speed TGV lines to the West and Southwest of France, which significantly reduce travel times:

  • TGV L’Océane down to Bordeaux
  • TGV Bretagne-Pays de la Loire to Nantes

The faster journey time is made possible by the opening of a new 188-mile stretch of high-speed track between Tours and Bordeaux

Paris – Nantes in 1h56m (saving 9 minutes)
Paris – Brest in 3h25m (saving 44 minutes)
Rennes – Paris in 1h25m (saving 39 minutes)
La Rochelle – Paris in 2h26m (saving 39 minutes)
Paris – Bayonne in 3h53m (saving 71 minutes)
Saint Malo – Paris in 2h14m (saving 40 minutes)
